夏琼, 博士，硕士生导师，2018年毕业于中国科学院海洋研究所，获得物理海洋学博士学位，曾在美国迈阿密大学交流访学一年。研究方向为海洋中尺度涡旋，包括涡旋的统计研究，机制研究，预报研究，以及涡旋对水体的输运研究等。研究方法包括传统的欧拉涡旋研究方法以及拉格朗日拟序涡旋研究方法。研究区域包括中国南海，西北印度洋，南大西洋，以及墨西哥湾等。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目1项，参与过多次国家自然科学基金面上项目。在国际顶级期刊《Journal of Physical Oceanography》、美国科学院院刊《Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences》、以及《Geophysical Research Letters》、《Science China Earth Sciences》、《Acta Oceanologica Sinica》、《Atmosphere-Ocean》、《Chinese Journal of Oceanology and Limnology》等杂志发表多篇SCI论文。承担教学海洋数据收集与处理、可视化程序设计、物理海洋学理论、C语言程序设计、数据库应用等理论和实践教学工作。
